Questions parents ask about our pancake mix
Does the mix work without egg?
Yes, completely. Just add milk and cook as normal. The egg is optional — it adds protein and makes the pancakes fluffier, but the mix works perfectly without it. Great for vegetarian families.
What age is this suitable for?
From 2 years onwards. The mix contains oats and is made in a facility that handles wheat, soya and nuts — check the allergen advice on the pack before serving to children with known allergies.
Can I use water instead of milk?
You can, but milk gives better texture, taste, and nutrition (extra protein and calcium). For a dairy-free version, any plant-based milk works well too.
How many pancakes does one pack make?
Each 145g pack makes approximately 8–10 medium pancakes depending on thickness. Enough for 2–3 children or one very hungry adult.
